Thirty-eight years ago, I accidentally got involved in real estate – and what a wonderful accident it has been! Originally a Washingtonian, I moved at a young age to Falls Church, Virginia where I excelled in sports and graduated from Falls Church High School. I continued my education at Shepherd University where I graduated with a BA degree. I began my career as a Physical Education teacher and coach, and one day went into a local real estate office to sell an ad for the high school football team. Instead, I was asked if I would like to sell real estate, and my second career began! I thrive on helping people find the perfect home and love the excitement involved in selling real estate.
My husband, Don, and I accidentally stumbled upon Lake of the Woods in 1991 and instantly fell in love with the community and all of the wonderful amenities it offers: the beautiful lakes, golf course, swimming, boating, club house, tennis and so much more. At that moment, we knew that Lake of the Woods is where we would build our dream weekend get-a-way home. Lake of the Woods became our full time residence after retiring from teaching and have had the time of our lives meeting new friends and taking full advantage of all of the Lake’s amenities.
When Don and I aren’t working, we volunteer at The Alice C. Tyler Village – Child Help, which is a cause extremely close to our hearts. What tickles are fancy the most is spending time with our three children and ten grandchildren – wow how our beautiful family has grown!
My love of real estate and my love of Lake of the Woods, adding in my knowledge of this area makes me the perfect professional partner in your Real Estate adventure.
