I am a knowledgeable associate broker with 12 years in the real estate business. I continue to use my skills as a member of the Coldwell Banker Elite Management Team. I am a certified Military Relocation Professional (MRP) and a Sellers’ Representative Specialist (SRS). I am a member of our Coldwell Banker Elite Relocation Team. I also specialize in small working farms, hobby farms and livestock farms. I have worked full time in real estate since 2005 assisting buyers and sellers in our area. Customer care is paramount.
Working with clients:
I love working with people but I have a special appreciation for our service men and women. I have enjoyed helping our military as well as retirees relocate. It can be stressful for clients to move across country (or internationally) and I feel like I have been able to make the experience pleasant for my clients over the past 12 years. We live in such a transient area and I feel like a good way to serve those clients is to be part of our Relocation Program. It has helped make me a more well-rounded agent.
My previous years of medical experience in both hospital and small practitioner settings has enabled me to understand the unique needs of medical professionals. With the growing number of hospitals and medical facilities to the Fredericksburg area, my extensive background has proved to be useful.
As a full-service Fredericksburg, Locust Grove, Spotsylvania, Stafford, Orange, and Culpeper real estate professional, I work with buyers, sellers and investors in real estate transactions spanning all of the price ranges and property types.
We (my husband who is a retired U.S. Marine, our two children and myself) own a small hobby farm. We raise sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, etc. We have been part of the Orange County 4-H for 10 years and I am a parent volunteer/teacher for the 4-H livestock club and Orange County Extension office. I have enjoyed working with the local extension offices with water conservation programs, well & septic issues and land management.
My husband is a retired Marine helicopter pilot, our daughter is in the Air National Guard and our son is an officer in the JROTC program at his high school. We participate in the Toys for Tots program every year and well as other charities within our community. We have run the petting zoo for a local church as part of their community outreach program as well as run teaching stations for the local farm tours through the extension office.
I have been honored to be asked to give the invocation before meetings and award banquets on numerous occasions.
Above & Beyond:
My peers have said I am a team player. My family believes in jumping in to assist with work where needed. I have enjoyed helping new agents as they come into the business. A Coldwell Banker agent was there to give me a hand up when I first obtained my license. I hope I can return the favor and continue to pay it forward. I have made a lot of friends in the business over the years. I feel blessed that my peers have come to me for help or to cover their business as back up. It is a good feeling that they trust me to take the very best care of their clients in their absence.
I teach new agents that both sides of a transaction are working towards a common goal and we all want the best outcome for our clients. As agents we can protect our client but still work professionally and respectfully with the other side. I know as Coldwell Banker agents, we provide the very best service for our clients while working at the highest level of ethical standards. It is key to a long and successful career in real estate. We are not just in the housing business. We are in the people business as agents.
